New York State Teaching Certification as a Library Media Specialist or Special Education Certification with experience teaching Library Media required. General skill set includes the ability to teach Library Media, manage a classroom, manage behavior, and participate in IEP development. Must be able to model and teach Library Media techniques to students and able to manage the classroom. Ability to adhere to our organization’s core values. Must be technologically savvy. Physical Requirements: Reach, Walk, Climb Stairs and Bend. This position is for a 10 month school year and 6 week summer program. Hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with one day per week designated for staff conferences from 3 pm to 5 pm.
