The Onteora Central School District is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Elementary School Principal to lead our K–5 school community at Bennett Elementary School. The successful candidate will be a visible, participatory leader who fosters a climate of collaboration and trust among students, staff, families, and the broader community. This role is ideal for an experienced educator with strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction, particularly at the elementary level. The candidate will demonstrate skill in data analysis and data-informed decision-making to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning. A thorough understanding of early language acquisition and childhood development is essential, as is a commitment to equitable practices that support the success of all learners. Prior classroom teaching experience and building-level administrative experience are preferred. The ideal candidate will be reflective, approachable, and dedicated to nurturing both student achievement and staff professional growth. Required Certification: New York State School Building Administrator (SBL) or School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) certification
