General Statement of DutiesThe Oneonta City School District is seeking a Maintenance Worker. This is a 12-month position with benefits. Performs a variety of semi-skilled mechanical, construction, or maintenance work; does related work as required.Qualificationsa) Two (2) years of experience in either general building maintenance, heavy construction, or building trades work; orb) Two (2) years of experience in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical; orc) An equivalent combination of training and experience as indicated in (a) and (b).SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS:Candidates must be eligible for an operator’s license issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles at time of application.
