ONC BOCES is anticipating a need for a full-time High School Special Education Teacher at NCOC in Grand GorgeIn a special education behavioral program, each role plays a distinct yet complementary part in supporting students with diverse needs. The teacher is responsible for designing and implementing the curriculum, creating lesson plans, assessing student progress and overseeing the overall educational experience of the students. The selected candidate will be working in a high school self-contained 8:1:2 program for students with behavioral and/or social/emotional difficulties.Current NYS Students with Disabilities 7-12 or NYS Special Education certification required.
