Position: Two (2) full-time positions located at NCOC in Grand Gorge. These are 10-month, Teacher Unit, probationary positions.Qualifications and Responsibilities: Current NYS Special Education or Elementary Students with Disabilities teaching certification required. Experience working with students with social and emotional needs is required.The Trust program is a service-intensive model for students with severe behavioral and/or social and emotional difficulties. It provides a highly structured learning environment and intensive behavior management strategies. Academics are tailored to individual learning abilities and styles, which also follow New York State Common-Core Learning Standards. Students are provided intensive IEP counseling and crisis support, as well as related services per their IEP.
