Position: One (1) full-time, 10-month, ESPA Unit, probationary position located in the Equipment Operation and Repair classroom at NCOC in Grand Gorge and one (1) full-time, 10-month, ESPA Unit, probationary position located in the Natural Resources Occupations classroom at OAOC in Milford.Qualifications and Responsibilities: NYS Licensed Teaching Assistant certification or any valid NYS Teacher certification required. Applicants must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations including performing physical restraints, as necessary, in accordance with TCI training. Knowledge of basic operation and maintenance of heavy equipment, knowledge of basic hand and power tools, and basic welding and metal fabrication knowledge are all skills that the candidate should possess prior to starting in the EOR classroom. Previous experience in conservation and/or forestry preferred for the NRO classroom.
