Thank you.The district is seeking a collaborative and experienced educational leader to oversee all aspects of Human Resources, Student Services, and Community Activities. This role supports a district of ten schools and approximately 1,200 employees, and serves as a key member of the Superintendent’s leadership team.Primary Responsibilities• Lead labor relations and serve as chief negotiator for fourteen bargainingunits• Oversee recruitment, staffing, certification, evaluation, and personnelmanagement• Guide administrators in employee relations, disciplinary matters, andcontract interpretation• Ensure compliance with State and Federal employment laws, Civil Servicerules, and Title IX• Collaborate with district leaders to support professional development andleadership capacity• Supervise nursing services, health compliance, and the Department ofCommunity Activities• Prepare reports and budget components for HR, Nursing, and DOCA• Attend all Board of Education meetings and participate in crisis responseRequired Qualifications• New York State School District Leader (SDL) certification• School administrative experience including human resource functions• Strong understanding of teaching and learning and employment lawKey Skills• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Confidentiality and professionalism• Strategic thinking and problem solving• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex priorities• Collaborative and compassionate leadershipThe Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement.
