Speech and Language Therapist - Leave Replacement. Approx Start and End date: December 2026-May 2027 Certifications Required: TSHH: Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or TSSLD: Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities. We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to support a diverse caseload of kindergarten students. Responsibilities include providing individual and small-group speech and language therapy; conducting speech and language evaluations; supporting students with a range of communication needs, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC); collaborating closely with teachers, related service providers, and families; monitoring student progress; and supporting the implementation of IEP goals. The Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement. We educate 5,500 students in 10 schools, including seven elementary schools, an early childhood center, a middle school, a high school and an alternative high school.
