Learning Lab TA 26/27 School Year We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Learning Lab Teaching Assistant (TA) to support the development and delivery of hands-on, engaging STEAM-based learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students in an interactive environment and is passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing inquiry-based lessons that encourage exploration and student-driven learning Facilitate hands-on STEAM activities and challenges that promote problem-solving and real-world application Support cooperative learning structures, helping students work effectively in teams Guide students through open-ended questions and investigations to deepen understanding Provide individualized and small-group support to reinforce concepts and build confidence Help prepare materials and maintain an organized, safe, and engaging learning environment Encourage creativity, persistence, and a growth mindset among students We do not accept Teacher Assistant Certificates. Must be certified: Early Childhood B-2, STEM/STEAM, Tech Ed (k-12), or Elementary Education. $36,600/per year, benefits eligible. Hours are 8:35am-3:35pm The Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement.
