The Oceanside School District is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Leave Replacement Speech and Language Therapist to provide services at the elementary level. The position is anticipated to begin on 8/28/25. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering speech and language therapy in accordance with students’ IEP goals, conducting assessments, writing evaluation reports, and participating in CSE meetings. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with classroom teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student communication needs; maintaining accurate documentation; and communicating regularly with families and school personnel. Candidates must hold New York State certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)The Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement.
