OCM BOCES CNY Regional Information Center has the need for two Systems Training Assistants for Educational Data. Each successful candidate assists with the initial training and support of school personnel in the various PC applications available under the respective educational institution. This includes keyboard instruction, forms completion, screen display uses, and instruction manual use. Tests and documents software for use. May develop and write documentation for various application programs. Assists user personnel with problems encountered with the software. Acts in a liaison capacity with software vendor support personnel to resolve issues. This is a competitive Civil Service position. Continued employment is contingent on successfully passing and being reachable on the Systems Training Assistant list.
