School Counselor (7-12 Guidance)The New York Mills Union Free District is currently seeking applicants for the position of School Counselor grades 7-12.The New York Mills UFSD is searching for a committed and innovative team member who can form trusting and authentic relationships with students, families and staff. The School Counselor will assist and advise students in obtaining the necessary graduation requirements so they are career and college ready. Effective communication skills and the ability to implement a comprehensive counseling program is required.Full-time, 11-month position.NYS Certification required.Rate per Contract: New York Mills Teachers' Association (NYMTA).Interested candidates must possess fingerprint clearance.
