Coach - Field Hockey - Girls Varsity Job Description:The position is responsible for helping to coordinate all aspects of the Varsity Field Hockey program including the training and instructions of student-athletes, maintaining appropriate practice and match schedules, and adhering to all District/League policies and procedures for athletics, serving as a positive role model, communication with parents, fellow coaches and the administration.Qualifications:New York State Certification in Physical Education ORNew York State Teacher Certification ORNon-Teacher Coach with Professional Coaching License ORNon-Teacher Coach with Temporary License.Valid First Aid course accepted as meeting NYS Coaching requirements.Valid Adult CPR certification accepted as meeting NYS Coaching requirements.Workshop – Child Abuse Identification.Workshop – School Violence Intervention and Prevention.Workshop – Dignity for All Students Act (DASA).Fingerprint Clearance.Valid Concussion Management Certification.Previous Coaching Experience (preferred).Applications must be received by the Superintendent’s Office on or before June 28, 2024
