Nyack Public Schools is seeking a School Psychologist (Districtwide) for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. Bilingual Extension Preferred.Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will effectively collaborate with colleagues and partner with students and families in the learning process to support the social-emotional and academic needs of students. Additionally, the school psychologist will conduct psycho-educational evaluations and other appropriate assessments; provide counseling for groups and individuals. The school psychologist will consult with classroom teachers, support staff and families in order to make recommendations to meet the needs of individual children, groups of students and to help support the social/emotional needs of the student body. Moreover, the school psychologist will participate as a member of the Committee on Special Education and/or 504 Committee as a school psychologist. Participates in annual reviews and re-evaluations of classified students. Qualifications: Must possess appropriate NYS certification
