Teaching Assistant will be under the direction of a member of the instructional staff and will:work with individual students or groups of students on instructional projects;provide the teacher with information about students which will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning and behavioral experiences;assist students in the use of available instructional resources and development of instructional materials;assist in providing testing accommodations; andassist in related instructional work as required.Qualified candidates must apply to OLAS and submit a complete application. In addition to the completed application, a cover letter, updated resume, transcripts, three written letters of professional reference and a copy of the NYS Certification are required.
