City School District of New RochelleEmbracing Diversity: Driving Success The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for our 8:1:2 ABA program. The successful candidate must have NYS Special Education Teacher Certification and experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities. Responsibilities include: Application of the principles of ABA across all domains, including academic, communication, social and behavioral.Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all student's progress on all IEP objectives daily.Analyze student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis.Work closely with Behavior Intervention Specialists to design, phase, change, and note objectives for each student.Carry out and maintain all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP.Complete progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.Deliver classroom instructional programs and maintain a classroom environment conducive to instruction.
