Qualifications: NYS Certification in School District LeadershipNYS World Language Dual Language Certification Responsibilities: Supervisory experience; demonstrated leadership/knowledge and understanding of curriculum development, program evaluation, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning. Provides instructional guidance and enhances articulation in curriculum alignment – benchmarks development and implementation of assessments, and the implementation of highly effective instructional strategies tailored to meet our students’ needs. Conducts formal and informal evaluations, and provide professional development for teachers of Mandarin Chinese, French, Latin, Italian, Spanish, Spanish Native language and English as New Language aligned with the NYS World Language Standards. Supervises FLES programs at the elementary schools, conduct evaluations, curriculum development and alignment, and provide professional development aligned with NYS World Language Standards.
