Clinician - Day EducationSign On Bonus - $2,000Full time, 40 hour work schedule that follows the school calendar which includes a mandatory 6-week summer program.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for providing clinical and IEP mandated services to Day Education students and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssess individuals and family situations with a focus on school successIdentify problem areas, treatment goals, and methods to attain goal leading to improved performance at schoolAssist school personnel when behavioral situations occur involving students on your caseloadWork with the education team and local school district to develop a comprehensive Individual Education Plan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and family.Provide therapeutic services to child and family using differential modalitiesWork with interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive treatment pan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and familyWork with referring and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence as neededRecord and maintain case record in accordance with agency OCFS, DOE, and other states mandatesParticipate in intake assessments as assignedWork with referring school districts and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence as needed.Education and/or ExperienceMasters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or related fieldsCertification / LicensureNYS Licensure Preferred but not required: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LPNYS drivers License
