We are currently seeking passionate and knowledgeable educators to join our high school social studies department and inspire young minds.Part-Time Teacher (0.4 FTE) We are also hiring for a part-time (0.4 FTE) Global History teaching position for the entire 2025–2026 school year.Qualifications:Valid New York State 7–12 Social Studies certification is required.Strong content knowledge of the Global 9 and Global 10 Regents curriculum.Experience or willingness to co-teach in inclusive classrooms with a special education teacher.Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with New York State Learning Standards.Collaborate with a special education co-teacher to support students in Global 9 and 10 inclusion classes.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes participation, inquiry, and critical thinking.Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative measures; provide timely and constructive feedback.Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and administrators to support student learning and growth.
