We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 9th-10th Grade Social Studies Teacher to join our team and inspire young minds. We require a 7-12 social studies certification. We seek a candidate that is knowledgeable in global 9, global 10, AP World and Regents curriculum.Responsibilities:Plan for Global 9, Global 10 and AP World courses. (3 preps)Collaborate with a special education co-teacher for Global 9 and 10 inclusion classroomsDevelop and implement engaging and interactive student-centered social studies lessons aligned with state standards.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student success.
