We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher to join our team and inspire young minds. We require either an Elementary K-6 certification or a 7-12 social studies with a 5-6 extension. In both regards, we seek a candidate that is knowledgeable in 6th grade social studies curriculum and instruction.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging and interactive student-centered social studies lessons aligned with state standards.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student success.Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community.
