Elementary Guidance Counselor needed. The New Lebanon Central School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster academic, social, and emotional growth in students and collaborate with faculty, families, and community partners to support the well-being and success of all learners.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide academic, career, and social-emotional counseling to studentsDevelop and implement school counseling curriculum aligned with district goalsSupport students with crisis intervention and conflict resolutionCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student successParticipate in school-wide initiatives to support a positive and inclusive school climateMaintain accurate student records and prepare necessary reportsQualifications:Valid New York State School Counselor Certification requiredStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environmentAlso responsible for K-12 IEP counseling services.
