Position: Full-Time Business Teacher (10-month position)Job Summary: The New Lebanon Central School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated full-time Business Teacher to join our team. This position will begin on September 1, 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching business concepts to middle and high school students, preparing them for future academic and career success.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and district curriculum for business education.Teach a variety of business-related courses such as Accounting, Business Law, Marketing, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet the diverse needs of students.Assess and evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents.Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in business education.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and development.Serve as an advisor for business-related extracurricular activities and clubs.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Valid New York State Teaching Certification in Business Education.Experience teaching business courses at the secondary level is preferred.Strong knowledge of business concepts and real-world applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
