The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment for middle school students.Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive science curriculum for 7th and 8th-grade studentsCreate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagementUtilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilitiesAssess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedbackCollaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student learning and developmentIntegrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance the educational experienceParticipate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in science educationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree preferredValid New York State teaching certification in Science for grades 7-12Strong knowledge of middle school science curriculum and state standardsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleaguesCommitment to ongoing professional growth and development
