The New Lebanon Central School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team starting September This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to elementary students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth.Key Responsibilities:Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.Instruction: Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction in various subjects to students with special needs, using evidence-based teaching strategies.Assessment: Conduct assessments to evaluate students' strengths, weaknesses, and progress, and adjust instructional methods accordingly.Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.Behavior Management: Implement positive behavior intervention strategies to support students' social and emotional development.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of students' progress, attendance, and other required documentation.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
