New Lebanon Central School District is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PreK-6 NYS Certified Teacher to join our team. This full-time position, 10-month, starting on September 1, 2023. As a member of our district, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate our students, fostering their academic and personal growth.Responsibilities:Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on the New York State curriculum standards.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation.Deliver instruction effectively using a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to students, parents, and administration.Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and align curriculum, as well as discuss student progress and instructional strategies.Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians, maintaining open lines of communication to support student success.Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required.Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and regulations.Qualifications:Valid New York State certification as a PK-6 teacher.Knowledge and understanding of the New York State learning standards and curriculum.Strong instructional and classroom management skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for working with children and promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.The New Lebanon Central School District is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply.For more information about our district, please visit our website at www.newlebaoncsd.org
