Our commitment is to provide educational and therapeutic services in a nurturing environment with the highest standards of practice.About the Role: NIS is seeking an enthusiastic and motivational leader for our offsite locations consisting of Integrated and Special Education Programs. The Multi-Site Education Director will liaison with district and community administrators and must possess strong interpersonal skills. This professional will have a passion for working with children with varied abilities, experience supervising curriculum and instruction for staff at a preschool level. The supervisor will be committed to evidence-based practices and effectively lead staff toward student driven outcomes within a developmentally appropriate instructional model. This role entails supervision of staff at multiple locations, coaching and interfacing with teachers regarding curriculum implementation, classroom management, IEP goals and report writing. The Multi-Site Education Director will coordinate and/or provide staff training and program development. This position also includes travel to multiple location in the Suffolk County area.Requirements:Master’s DegreeSBL/SDL certification- candidate will be considered if actively pursuing the certificationWilling to travel locally to oversee offsite programs5+ years teaching or related services field2+ years of supervisory experience
