Certified NYS School Psychologist experienced at the elementary school level. Must be highly skilled and leadership-oriented. Experience should include chairing CSE & 504 meetings with deep familiarity with NYS Part 200 and 201 regulations; developing all areas of the IEP; completing initial evaluations & reevaluation testing for K-6 graders; organizing & leading Instructional Support team meetings & developing MTSS plans to meet students’ needs; experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments & developing Behavior Intervention Plans; experience providing various group & individual counseling supports for a variety of mental health issues & social skills support groups; experience developing/implementing schoolwide PBIS; able to build strong connections with colleagues and families. BCBA Certification and/or ASD experience preferred.
