(Grant Funded Position) School psychologists at the Newfield Central School District work with students, teachers, administrators, and parents to offer services to prevent or improve existing students’ difficulties and enhance the educational success of all students. Duties will include: -Conducting comprehensive and timely evaluations for committee of special education services. -Serving as a member of the Committee of Special Education Services for the identification of students with disabilities, as well as for the placement and review of students with individualized education plans.-Consulting and collaborating with various school personnel including teachers, administrators, and mental health professionals in order to help develop culturally responsive supports using a Response to Intervention model to meet the learning and behavioral needs of students.-Providing individual and group counseling to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of students.(Grant Funded Position) School psychologists at the Newfield Central School District work with students, teachers, administrators, and parents to offer services to prevent or improve existing students’ difficulties and enhance the educational success of all students.
