Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Special Education Teacher to provide Resource Room services to students with disabilities in grades K -8 attending a local nonpublic school. The successful candidate will deliver specially designed instruction in accordance with students' Individualized Education Services Programs (IESPs), collaborate with school personnel and families, and support students in achieving academic success. Location: Trinity Regional Essential Skills and/or Experience: Provide small-group Resource Room instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with their IESPs. Develop and implement instructional plans that address students' unique learning needs and align with New York State Learning Standards and grade level curriculum. Monitor student progress, collect and analyze data, and maintain accurate documentation of student performance. Prepare progress reports and participate in the development and review of IESPs as appropriate. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success. Preferred Skills and/or Experiences: A strong literacy background is preferred.
