Position: Teaching Assistant Requirements:• Supporting 8:1:3 Special Education class• Elementary level (grades 1-3)• Any NYS Teaching Certification OR• Teaching Assistant Certification Level I, II, or III requiredResponsibilities: Support the 8:1:3 special class setting for students in grades 1-3. Provide individualized student support for students with special needs, working closely with the classroom teacher to support lesson plans, assist in managing student behavior, and closely monitor student progress. Placement is for this year.
