Position: Teaching Assistant Requirements:• Supporting 8:1:2 Special Education class• Elementary level• Any NYS Teaching Certification OR• Teaching Assistant Certification Level I, II, or III requiredResponsibilities: Support the 8:1:2 special class setting for students in grades 1-3. Provide individualized student support for students with special needs, working closely with the classroom teacher to support lesson plans, assist in managing student behavior, and closely monitor student progress.
