Title: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERPay Scale: NBTA Contract Description: Provide school social work services to students who are at-risk for school failure and/or are demonstrating social/emotional/behavioral problems within the school setting; provide regularly scheduled IEP and AIS counseling services for students; provide comprehensive school social work services to parents, students and school staff; work with teachers, therapists and other staff to provide ongoing guidance regarding interrelationship of child's home and community environment with the school setting; work collaborative with the team to provide the appropriate services the child, family and staff needs; respond to referrals from school administration, parents, teachers, the Early Intervention Team, the Special Education Committee and others; assist families in accessing appropriate community resources.
