The Newburgh Enlarged City School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Director of Fine Performing (Pre K – 12) & Visual Arts (K-8) for the District. *Previous applicants are still under consideration. Qualifications: Valid Teaching CertificateSDL/SDA – New York State CertificationCertified Danielson Framework for Teaching 2011 Evaluator. Extensive, successful teaching and administrative experience in Pre K- Grade 12. Job Goal: The Director of Fine, Performing, and Arts Pre K-12, serves as a curriculum specialist in the NECSD. The Director will provide leadership to support Pre K-12 schools as they work to improve the achievement of all students and close the achievement gap for students in special populations. Six elementary schools (including a Pre-K center in one building), one K-8 school, one middle school, and the high school are in the City of Newburgh.
