Anticipated Vacancy for 2026-2027 Assistant Cook 10 month position 6:00a -12:00p (Hours) Under the Direction of the Food Service Director the Cook will : * Execute large scale food preparation of the School Breakfast and Lunch Program. * Operate all cooking equipment including ovens, steamer, stove, and slicer. * Assist the Cook in the daily activities of the kitchen and food preparation. * Maintain production records. *Maintain a secure and sanitary environment appropriate for food preparation in accordance with Suffolk County Health Codes. *Suffolk County Board of Health Food Manager's Certificate required.
