Robert Moses Middle School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our team as a Middle School Physical Education Teacher with certification in Health Education. This is a full-time, probationary tenure track position beginning on August 27, 2025.Responsibilities include:Delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education and health instruction to middle school studentsPromoting physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habitsDeveloping and implementing standards-based lesson plans aligned with New York State Learning StandardsCollaborating with colleagues and school staff to support student growth and wellnessMaintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all studentsAssessing student progress and communicating with families as neededQualifications:Valid New York State Certification in Physical Education (K–12)Additional Certification in Health Education requiredStrong communication, classroom management, and organizational skillsA commitment to fostering a positive school culture and supporting the whole childWe are looking for an educator who is enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to inspiring students to lead healthy, active lives.
