Athletic TrainerAdminister primary clinical evaluations and subsequent treatment and rehabilitation programs.Assess, treat, and manage concussions.Supervise middle and high school practices and home athletic events as well as some select away games.Verify, review, and organize student physicals, health records, and parental release forms in conjunction with school nursing personnel and the athletic department todetermine athletic eligibility.Must be first aid/CPR/AED certified, and coordinate and instruct CPR/first aid certification classes for staff.Work weekend, evening, and holiday hours as required during sports seasons.Outstanding people skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision, while working closely as a teammember in a school community.Other responsibilities as determined by the Director of Athletics.Salary: $61,613Full-time, 11-month position; plus benefit packageBOC certification required, as well as NYS licensure as an athletic trainer.
