The Department of Special Education at Nassau BOCES is seeking a temporary Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The successful candidate will provide itinerant services to students in our schools and component districts. REQUIREMENTS: NYS Certification: Deaf and Hard of Hearing is required Knowledge and experience working with students classified with hearing loss and/or deafness Experience with FM systems and cochlear implants is highly preferred Strong interpersonal skills are required
