Duties of the position include, but are not limited to: Oversee and supervise the Adult Employment Center team. Liaise, collaborate, and work with a variety of adult learners, teachers, community members, employers and various Nassau County Departments. Lead programs and staff for students who are associated with New York State Education Department – Adult Career and Continuing Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR). Act as the lead for data analysis, grant oversight and reporting, instructional leadership, and school operations. Create and manage budgets for the Adult Employment Center. Represent Nassau BOCES and RSIP at various events while taking the lead in building new initiatives for Nassau BOCES. REQUIREMENTS: New York State Education Department Certification: School Building Leader (SBL) or School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) as well as School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA). Experience with secondary CTE. Budgetary and grant development and oversight is preferred. Experience with student information systems and ACCES-VR.
