Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing in-district and/or remote support for school districts including but not limited to:Providing on-site training, email and phone support to districts and building employees including administrators, teachers and clerical staff on the use of various software systems. These systems include Renaissance suite of educational software such as Star 360, Freckle and myON.Managing the Frontline suite of platforms to include IEP direct; Medicaid and Service Management; Response to Intervention; Professional Growth Platform; and Centris Sync.Oversee Medicaid Reimbursement reporting throughout assigned districts.Moderating listservs for Medicaid in Education and Renaissance.Creating, modifying and delivering professional development and presentations to districts either virtually or in person.Requirements:New York State Education Department Professional Teaching Certification.New York State Education Department Administrative Certification (School District Administrator/School District Leader) is preferred.3 + years teaching and/or administrative experience.Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation and communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.Extensive experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Google Meets, Teams and Zoom.Availability to travel within Nassau County.If the candidate is a certified guidance counselor, a New York State Education Department Administrative Certification (School District Administrator/School District Leader) is required or the candidate must be enrolled in a leadership program which could result in a New York State Administrative Certification (School District Administrator/School District Leader) and qualify for an Internship Certificate.
