The Nassau BOCES Department of Language Programs and Assessment Services is seeking an English as a New Language (ENL) teacher. Responsibilities include:* Design and implement ENL instruction to small groups of ENL students at various school districts and/or provide language support in other content-area classes, based on CR-154 requirements* Collaborate with teachers on modifying curriculum and differentiating instruction for ENL students and share best practices to optimize student learning outcomes* Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that meets the individual learning needs of all students* Administer state mandated assessments for English Language Learners.Requirements:* NYSED TESOL certification is required* NYSED Students with Disabilities certification is preferred* NYSED Bilingual extension is preferredSalary: As per contract
