The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology at Nassau BOCES is seeking a Program Specialist II – Instructional Data Warehouse (IDW) and Test Scoring Services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Facilitate IDW and Test Scoring user group and in-district trainings- Regional management of Computer-Based Testing for NYS ELA and Math 3-8 Assessments- Conduct Data Wise training for district/schools and provide on-going support- Financial management including billing for services- Assist with the management of Educational Vista vendor scoring- Communication with public school district and non-public school personnel- Assist with emergency test distribution and with third-party data loading process in the IDW- Maintenance of IDW and Test Scoring webpageRequirements:- NYS Professional Teaching Certification with or without a NYS Administrative Certification (SDA/SDL)- Experience in both 3-8 NYS testing and Regents exams, including Computer-Based Testing- Exceptional presentation skills and must have experience creating and presenting workshops/professional development to a wide range of audiences- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Experience in developing and analyzing educational data in a variety of formats- Proficiency in utilizing web-based applications and must be detail oriented- If the candidate is a certified guidance counselor, a NYS Administrative Certification (SDA/SDL) is required, or the candidate must be enrolled in a leadership program which could result in a NYS Administrative Certification (SDA/SDL) and qualify for an Internship Certificate. The candidate must have completed 50% of the program and the program determines if the student is eligible for an internship certificationPrevious Applicants are still under consideration.
