This is a 10-month, probationary position.Required Qualifications:Candidates must possess a NYS Special Education Teacher Certification.Application Deadline: 11/14/25Start Date: 12/1/25Salary:Per current MMTA contract; level of education and experience will be considered.This position reports to the Building Principal. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities.The ideal candidate will:Have a strong understanding of best practices for teaching, learning and assessmentUse developmentally appropriate strategies to promote student engagementCreate a positive learning environmentPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsBuild positive relationships with colleagues and families
