Vacancy: Elementary Assistant Principal Location: Moravia, NY Grades: UPK – Grade 6We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated educational leader to join our administrative team as an Elementary Assistant Principal for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Our school serves students in Universal Pre-K through Grade 6 and is proud to be the heart of a close-knit, supportive community. Our staff is deeply committed to student success, professional collaboration, and maintaining a positive school culture where every child is known and valued.Responsibilities Assist in the leadership, development, and implementation of instructional programming for UPK–Grade 6. Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment by supporting Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Reinforce consistent use of TCIS practices through ongoing refreshers to support student well-being and staff response to behavior. Supervise and support teaching and support staff through observations, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with faculty, families, and community partners to strengthen the school-home connection. Respond to student behavior with a restorative and growth-focused mindset. Support school-wide initiatives, safety protocols, and strategic planning.
