We are looking for a dedicated and experienced School Counselor to support our diverse Pre-K–Grade 12 student population, including transitional and medically fragile students receiving care at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive academic, social-emotional, and post-secondary transition counseling to empower every student for success.Key Responsibilities:Student Registration & Academic AdvisingCollaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, personal, and social-emotional needs.Strong knowledge of special education, including transition planning and vocational assessments preferredPromote a positive school culture by actively engaging with students and familiesQualifications & Preferred Skills:Minimum of three years school counseling experience required Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks and adapt to student needsBilingual candidates preferred Experience with the student management system, eSchoolData, preferredAbout MPB & BCH:Our Special Act Public School District serves a transitional and medically fragile population, requiring a compassionate and adaptable approach to student support.
