Director of Pupil Personnel Services and District Data CoordinatorThe Montauk School District is seeking a Director of Pupil Services and Data Coordinator, anticipated start date of March 1, 2024. Located on the eastern end of Long Island this outstanding School District educates approximately 300 students in grades UPK-8th grade. This is a unique position for an individual who loves working in the school building hands on with building administrators, students, parents and staff. The Director of Pupil Personnel Services and District Data Coordinator assists the Superintendent in the leadership, coordination, supervision and management of pupil personnel operations and serves as the District Data Coordinator. Minimum qualifications area NYS School District Leader License, valid certification as a special education teacher preferred, speech teacher and/or psychologist considered. At least 5 years of teaching experience in the field of public education. The candidate must be experienced and highly knowledgeable in all phases of Pupil Personnel Services including but not limited to:Developing, implementing, supervising and evaluating the Special Education programSupervising and monitoring pupil personnel including guidanceCPSE and CSE ChairpersonSpecial Education state reporting504 ChairpersonDirector of RTI/ MTSS programsWork in conjunction with building administration as part of the building teamTeacher and teaching assistant observations and evaluationsSpecial Education/ Pupil Personnel budgeting and STACSDistrict Data CoordinatorKnowledgeable regarding requirements for ENL studentsUnderstanding of all required instructions /attendance/ staffing reporting Deadline for applications Wednesday, January 3, 2024Salary and benefits are commensurate on experience.
