Position Description: Montauk Union Free School District is seeking a qualified and collaborative Leave Replacement ENL (English as a New Language) Teacher to support multilingual learners across multiple grade levels. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators to provide targeted language instruction and student support. Responsibilities Include: Provide direct ENL instruction to students across multiple grade levels in push-in and pull-out settings Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development within content-area instruction Plan and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with students’ English language proficiency levels Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation for ENL services Participate in grade-level and student support team meetings as appropriate Communicate effectively with families and staff to support student success Maintain compliance with all NYS ENL regulations and district expectations Qualifications: Valid New York State TESOL certification (required) Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students across multiple grade levels Strong collaboration and communication skills Familiarity with NYS ENL regulations and best practices for multilingual learners Experience with culturally responsive instruction preferred Application Procedure: Interested candidates should apply through the OLAS system and submit: Letter of interest Resume Proof of NYS certification Transcripts Letters of recommendation (preferred)
