In partnership with families and our community, the district’s mission is to promote confidence, inspire a passion for learning, and to prepare students to become responsible global citizens.REQUIREMENTS:NYS Teacher and School District Administration (SDL or SDA) Certification Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Successful teaching and administrative experience including building and/or Central Office experience Knowledge of the most successful research and evidenced based educational practices surrounding instruction and curriculum A child-centered philosophy with proven ability as a rigorous academic leader, innovative planner and effective communicator A strong visionary leader with excellent communication skillsA charismatic leader who will build trust with staff, students, school board, and the community at largeDESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of five (5) years of successful building, department or central office experience An administrator who will be accessible and highly visible within the District's schools and communityMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides long range instructional planning, curriculum development and formulation of educational policy related to curriculum and instruction Assists in the determination of instructional personnel needs and conducts studies of present and future staffing needsResponsible for overseeing the compilation of data as required by NYSED and ensures that the reporting procedures are accurate and in compliance with New York State Education requirementsParticipates in the budget development process for all items related to curriculum and instructionCoordinates Superintendent Conference Days and other related professional development activitiesResponsible for supervision and evaluation of building and department level administratorsAssists in management of Title GrantsPlans and conducts administrator meetings, ensuring communication and collaborationEFFECTIVE: July 1, 2025
