REQUIREMENTS:NYS School District Administrator (SDA) or NYS School District Leader (SDL) certificationMust meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Five (5) years of successful administrative experienceComprehensive knowledge of innovative strategies and best practices associated with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, retention, development, and employee evaluationStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to work cooperatively with other departments and agenciesKnowledge of current Education Law, SED regulations and Civil Service rulesFamiliarity with employee management computer applications WinCap and FrontlineAbility to exercise strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information Knowledge of and experience with school district operations and proceduresRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of all certified and non-certified staffEnsure compliance with labor laws and regulationsLeadership in the planning and formulation of the District staffing budgetMaintain ongoing communications with legal counsel concerning all aspects of personnel managementCollaborate with labor unions, negotiate contracts, and address grievances according to established proceduresOversee the implementation of human resources policies and proceduresAssists in the preparation of the School Board meeting agendas, prepares appropriate reports, and attends School Board meetingsMaintain and manage employee recordsOversees the development of a staffing plan that includes equitable and competitive compensation plans to attract, retain, and encourage employees to seek advancement opportunitiesOversees employee disciplinary actions within the school districtSALARY & BENEFITS: CompetitiveEFFECTIVE: July 1, 2025
