In partnership with families and our community, the district’s mission is to promote confidence, inspire a passion for learning, and to prepare students to become responsible global citizens.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS SDA / SDL CERTIFICATIONNYSED FINGERPRINTING REQUIREMENTRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:DISTRICT DATA REPORTING:Liaison to local RIC as District Data Coordinator.Run weekly imports for NYS data requirements (Demographic, Enrollment, Prog. Services, etc)Import historical assessment data including NYS benchmark test scores in Reading, Math & Early Literacy and NYS Regents ExamsManagement and support of Student Management SystemRegularly collaborate with District Wide staff who are responsible for data entry in management systems required for NYS data reporting mandates ASSESSMENTS:Liaison to local RIC as the District NYS Testing Coordinator.Plan and oversees the K-12 NYS Benchmark TestingCoordinate the collection and scoring of NYS Assessments (both In-District and Out-of-District)Assist the Curriculum and instruction offices with data-driven decision making through the interpretation of student Benchmark and NYS score data for ELA and MathDirectly responsible for scanning, scoring June, August, and January Regents Exams Assist schools in interpreting analytical Regents score data Assist district leadership with interpretation of assessment results and identification of areas for improvementCURRICULUM SUPPORTAssist district leadership with implementation of educational technology and organize learning opportunities for staff to become familiar with itReview specific reports from current academic software in terms of usage and student progressEFFECTIVE: JULY 1, 2024
